Busquets joins Inter Miami on a two-year deal

The MLS team Inter Miami officially announced the signing of the 35-year-old former Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets, who once again became teammates with Messi. Busquets announced his free departure from Barcelona before the end of last season, and he signed with Inter Miami until 2025.

Busquets was born in 1988. He debuted in La Masia's youth training and has been playing for Barcelona. Busquets entered the Barcelona first team in 2008. In Barcelona, Busquets played 722 times, scored 18 goals and assisted 45 times, and grew into the captain of Barcelona.

In his career, Busquets helped Barcelona win three Champions League titles, three Club World Cup Champions Cups, nine La Liga titles, seven Copa del Rey titles, and eight Spanish Super Cup titles.

Busquets was selected for the Spanish national team for the first time at the age of 20. He played 143 times for the country and contributed 2 goals and 9 assists. He helped the Matador Corps win the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Cup.
